Anyone within the path of totality can see one of nature’s most awe inspiring sights - a total solar eclipse. This path, where the moon will completely cover the sun and the sun's tenuous atmosphere - the corona - can be seen, will stretch from Salem, Oregon to Charleston, South Carolina. Observers outside this path will still see a partial solar eclipse where the moon covers part of the sun's disk. Night Sky Oceanstone is used for the bases for this stunning hourglass to represent the darkness that happens when the sun is covered by the moon. They are Black with small specks whites and grays and look like a night when every star in the sky is out and shining bright. For the glow the sun creates when behind the moon, white semi gloss solid hardwood braided rope shaped intertwining strands of rope are used for the pillars. They symbolize the joining of your lives together and your union of marriage and complement the Black bases perfectly.
